This week’s facial item is - Avon’s Dead Sea Mineral Facial Scrub!
It’s been in my bathroom for a while now as my brother uses it for his acne, and since I've saw its working for him, I thought I'd try it out. Because of my new job, I've been wearing a lot more make-up than normal and I'm even wearing it more often which is terrible for my skin.
As my skins really sensitive, this is really upsetting its balance and has caused a breakout along my cheeks, between my eye brows and around my nose. I usually get breakouts between my eye brows because I have to wear glasses a lot, but it’s been made that bit worse by adding foundation, powder and primer every day.
First off, I wiped my make -up off using my Superdrug Tea Tree Facial Wipes (which I'll be talking about more in a haul post/video very soon) I done this so I'd be using this product on a makeup free face and so I could see results much faster (without have to worry about my mascara running)
So I wet my face before applying this to it, which is a pretty obvious step just to confirm that there’s no left over make-up on my face. Then I squirted out an amount just about the size of two peas.
The Scrub itself is white and doesn't smell much like anything. It’s a bumpy creamy texture and it glided well onto my skin.
I started off my using it in my breakout zones. I first applied it to my cheeks which are my worst affected area. I instantly felt the little scrubbing partials working on my skin. It’s a proper scrubby feeling when you’re rubbing this in. I rubbed in circular motions to really exfoliate my face.
Next I did my forehead and eye brow area. I used a small amount from the amount I'd squeezed out of the bottle, and applied it in the same way. I got the same feeling that it was really cleaning my skin and removing any dirt and/or dead skin cells. Lastly I did my nose and my chin. I always apply here last as these are the smallest area's I have to cover. I made sure to not miss anywhere on my face or in my nose area, just so I could be sure I had gotten as much dirty and dead skin cells cleaned off my face.
Once I was completely sure I hadn't missed anything I rinsed this off, to make sure I got every little scrubby partial off my face I rinsed for longer than I normally would.
Once I had this completely off my face, I patted my skin dry and applied my Superdrug Tea Tree Moisturiser (which will also be discussed in said haul)
I saw that my skin looked a lot cleaner and a lot of my spots redness had gone down. This was a complete relive as it was getting harder to cover this properly with concealer. My skin felt smoother, even before I applied the moisturiser which was what I was hoping would happen. I didn't feel any burning or discomfort when using this product either which made me extremely happy.
Overall this would definitely be a 7.5/10 the product was brilliant, it did exactly what I wanted it to do, but it was rather hard to rinse of in places like the lines around my nose and if it gets in your hair line, it’s not leaving any time soon. However it does what you want it to, which is clear away dirt and dead skin cells, so it’s a strong contender with the other facial scrubs on the market.
I am now intending to use this once or twice a week or so, just to keep removing any excess dirt or make-up build up and to just keep my face clean and healthy. I also noticed there is a facial mask in the same set that Avon do and that we have at home, so I may try it out as well to see if it holds the same kind of results.

I checked the Avon website to see if this exact product is still available, and sadly it isn't. However THIS is available and I would say its most likely their replacement for this product.
Thank you for reading and/or liking this post and I should have another up or in editing tomorrow!
Until Next Time!
