So for my first review I have choose to do one on my current favourite facial wash - Superdrugs Pink Grapefruit facial wash. This facial wash is part of their own brand which is also 100% Cruelty free, and it contains tea-tree oils and camomile extracts. I first picked it up when I was looking into changing my skin care brand. I saw it was on offer and just picked it up, now it's literally my favourite beauty item!
The facial wash itself only costs £3.29 and currently is in a buy one get one half price deal. Also if you hold a Superdrug card, this product would earn you three points.
It has a lovely soft, fruity scent which is lovely when you're washing your face first thing in the morning. The product also doesn't feel harsh on your skin, so its very good if you have sensitive skin (like myself) I have also noticed just how much its cleared up my spot prone skin. It also has left my skin that much healthier looking and softer with each use.
I tend to have sensitive, oily and dry skin in different places, and this product has prevented the oil becoming excessive, and doesn't irritate my sensitive skin, however if used without a moisturiser, I have noticed how dry it will make the dryer parts of my face. This is easily fixed with a moisturiser, but if you have extremely dry skin, I wouldn't advise this exact product.
I'd honestly say for the price it is a brilliant product. It doesn't irritate skin, or leave it feeling oily or dirty. Its only downside is it would have a negative effect on dry skin. I do plan to purchase this item again, and maybe a moisturiser to go along with it. If anyone else has used this product, tell me what you think of it!
