Wednesday Night Treats - Results and Reviews

Every Wednesday I try to treat my hair and face with a new product. This Wednesday it was the Mud Pac Anti Stress from Montagne Jeunesse and TRESemmé's Deep Smoothing hair mask. I have never used either of these products before, but I have used other products from these brands.

The TRESemmé deep smoothing hair mask is extremely easy to work with. I bought mine in Sally's Salon Services for about £5. You apply it to freshly washed, towel dried hair, and then leave it in for 5 - 7 minutes. 
When I used this, I applied it in the shower after shampooing and conditioning my hair with my normal products then, after squeezing out as much excess water as possible, I applied it to my ends first, then mid-lengths then with what was left, I massaged it in. I left this on for about 10 minutes, and then rinsed it for about 5 minutes.
After getting out of the shower and towel drying my hair, I combed my hair through and now it feels as soft as anything. I was very cautious about this product, as I have not had a good relationship with this brand in the past, but now, after using this product its safe to say we're on good terms again. Its left my hair shiny and frizz free (which is brilliant!) I will definitely be buying this product again, as a full sized product and maybe even the shampoo and conditioner. I would completely recommend this product to anyone with frizzy or uncooperative hair. 

The Montagne Jeunesse Anti Stress Mud Pac was a complete treat for my skin in every way! I bought this in Asda for £1 which is a major bargain! 
The packets instructions say to apply this product to a fully cleansed face, and leave on for 10 - 12 minutes, then rinse off thoroughly before patting the skin dry.
I cleansed my face using my Superdrug Grapefruit Daily Cleanser (full details of this can be found in my review further down this blog) then I applied the mask all over my face, avoiding my eye and mouth area. I left the product on for about 10 minutes. During this time I felt no burning sensations or tingly ones which is really good. After rinsing the product off my face, I patted my skin dry, and I noticed just how much clearer my skin looked. I've recently had a lot of break outs on my checks and forehead, but after using this, a lot of the redness has gone done! I fully plan to purchase this product again, it has had an amazing affect on my skin and it feels so much softer! I would recommend this to anyone who's skin has been breaking out a lot or has issues with redness.
